Information

Although the March 11 Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake was felt throughout Aichi Prefecture, Aichi was spared the tragic devastation that struck several hundred kilometers to the northeast. "Aichi has experienced no damage, no casualties, and no undue radiation." All utilities such as electricity, gas, and water; and transportation infrastructure including railroads, Shinkansen bullet trains, and expressways are all operating normally -- as are all flights into and out of Central Japan International Airport. There are no noticeable lifestyle issues.
