Since its foundation in 1917, KINTOBI SHIGA CO., LTD. has specialized in milling wheat grains specifically for udon noodles. We use our specialist skills to produce flavorful flour as well as dried udon noodles under the brand name of “Kin Tobi (golden kite) ” by using fresh, high quality wheat flour.

Our gently and slowly milled wheat flour has an authentic aroma, and is used to produce noodles that have high noodle making efficiency and a deliciously chewy texture. In fact, they have long been used by famous udon restaurants in and out of Aichi.
Our dried udon noodles are made only from high quality wheat flour. We produce them by an integrated system based on our proprietary techniques accumulated through many years of experience of making udon by hand. Because of their complete food safety, exceptionally high quality, and distinctive flavor, our dried udon noodles are sold at major supermarkets in Aichi and the Tokai and Kanto regions. They are also sold by mail order to customers throughout Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa.
