Suzutora’s major forte is a dyeing process for woven fabrics, but the company also processes synthetic leathers. Suzutora has conducted research in nano metal coating processing (adhering metal film to the surface of workpieces by vacuum evaporation) and established the technique. Suzutora succeeded in introducing sputtered products to the market for the first time in the world.
The nano metal coating technologies have recently been expanded and applied to films, and further demands are expected.
■Nano metal coating processing
Main products using the "only-one" MasaTM technology in the world
Curtains:Nano metal coating curtains facilitate air conditioning efficiency by cutting infrared rays, thus, contributing to energy conservation.
Parasols:Parasols are designed to considerably cut ultraviolet rays and infrared rays.
Films:Suzutora has developed a production system to manufacture film materials that allow rare ultra-large-screen size for liquid crystal displays and PDP displays.
■Dyeing processing We dye various fabrics used in different industries including interiors, clothing, and industrial materials.
Developed a unique textile technology
Suzutora developed the world's first technology for nano metal textile coating in 1975. Since then, Suzutora has been operating a unique business throughout the world.
MasaTM (patent acquired) is a coating technology that applies a nano size fine metal thin film to textiles, knitted fabrics, or non-woven fabrics. With this evenly thin metal coating, we have also produced highly functional textiles with various added values. Currently, Suzutora is proactively advancing into the global market. In the dyeing processing area, Suzutora has also acquired a number of patents.
■Features■
Texture and air permeability would be the same without metal film. However, the metal thin film reflects and/or absorbs the ultraviolet rays, visible rays, and infrared rays that normally penetrate materials.
